General

What is ThetaBlocks?

ThetaBlocks is a Minecraft-based creative server and community aimed at providing all who join an enjoyable experience in an environment that is not only relaxing and laid-back but exciting and adventurous at the same time!

Joining the Server

How do I join?/What is the server IP?

You can get started in joining the ThetaBlocks Minecraft Server by visiting the Getting Started page.

The server IP address can be obtained by reading the ThetaBlocks Terms of Service

Can I use the default minecraft resourcepack?

Any resource pack can be used in the following regions:

  • Travelers Valley

However, only the official server resource pack or other approved resource packs may be used in applications for member rank.

The rest of the server does not facilitate building in default pack and makes use of carefully constructed Resource Packs.

If the world is in default or looks like colors or blocks are incorrect then you may have forgotten to apply the latest version of the official ThetaBlocks Resource Pack! This can be done by enabling server textures through the Minecraft multiplayer menu by editing the server you select.

Building on the server

Where do I build?

If you are new to the server, you can build within the plot world known as Travelers Valley.

Players of the rank Builder or higher can build within Travelers Valley, the Sandbox and our main world, Xavon.

Can I use Aerosniper and/or WorldEdit?

If you are new to the server, you do not have access to Aerosniper or WorldEdit.

How do I get rank?

You can obtain the rank of Builder by building a plot in the Travelers Valley and asking for a review from a staff member.

Further information on can be found on the Ranks page.

Getting around

How do I find builds?

Jumping onto any ship or hot air balloon within the spawn area will teleport you to an associated project. Alternatively, you can ask in chat to be shown around.

How do I get to the Survival or PVP arena?

ThetaBlocks is a creative server, and therefore does not support any type of survival or PVP related game play.

Staff

Who owns the Server?

Ajcool is the owner of the server, and the primary provider of it's upkeep both financially and digitally.

Who are the staff?

The Current Admins are Ajcool, Jmck95, Kesaro, CptRct, Budderman, and Jeasolis.

The Current Moderators are Kuraishin, JJ1forces, Aerocet and Vox.

Can I have OP?

No, Operator status is not given out under any circumstances, unless under the direct supervision of an Admin.

This is not up for debate. If an admin refuses to give you OP, do not press the matter any further.

Can I apply to become staff?

No, we prefer to hand-pick our moderators from mature and active members of the community.

The best way to become a moderator is to actively engage in the server and the community and contribute to major projects.
